We spent the night up at Cabana Valea Dorului. Snow fell quietly while the mountain slept, covering everything in a fresh, silent layer.
Morning came with the first chairlift. Cold air, not a single track around us, and that rare feeling that the mountain is yours alone for a few runs.
We laid down the first tracks before anyone else arrived. Freshly groomed slopes and valleys filled with untouched snow. Runs somewhere between speed and flow, where the only sound was the board cutting through the snow.
